Loretta V. Castle Sheets

     Loretta V. Castle Sheets, 86, of Latham, Ohio, went to be with the Lord at 12:44 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021.

     She was born November 23, 1934, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Hobert and Martha Barker Castle.  On April 1, 1952, she married Arvilla “Jake” Sheets who preceded her in death on November 5, 1998.

     Surviving are children, Myra (Dan) Ramey, of Chillicothe, Steve (Tammy) Sheets, of Peebles, Sheila Bane, of Chillicothe and Shelby (Michael) Schiller, of Latham; a sister, Emma “Sissy” Fuller, of Chillicothe; 20 grandkids; 34 great grandkids; and 9 great great grandkids.  She was predeceased by daughters, Deborah S. Hoskins and Nancy L. Coonrod; an infant son, James Bradley Sheets; a sister, Bertha Hurles; and brothers, Ishmael, Dewey, Emory, David and Willard Castle. 

     Loretta was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord and Savior.  She was a stay at home mom for years then worked at Carroll’s Potato Chip Factory and the US Shoe Factory.  Loretta loved her family dearly and will be missed by everyone.  Mom wouldn’t want us to mourn her loss, she would want us to celebrate her life.  She had a Heart of Gold. 

     Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor David Marhoover officiating.  Burial will follow in Three Locks Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
