Lyle E. "Piddle" Carroll

     Lyle E. “Piddle’’ Carroll, 85, of Chillicothe, died 7:34 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at his residence unexpectedly.

     He was born July 27, 1935, in Ross County, to the late Emmitt and Mabel Riley Carroll.  In 1960, he married the former Darlene Hartley who died in 1980.

     Surviving are a son, Jeffrey L. Carroll, of Waverly and his son’s companion, Tamara Y. Crabtree, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Erica (Jeff) Davis, Jared Carroll, Devon Lansing, Nicholas Davis, Tristan Davis, Cayden Uhl and Kaleigha Uhl; 9 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; a brother, Al “Bud” Carroll, of Washington CH; and a special friend, Jane Brown, of Chillicothe.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Kristy Carroll and a brother, Jesse Carroll.    

     Lyle retired from Chilpaco where he had worked for 36 years.

     Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon on Friday, July 16, 2021.  A graveside service, held in Greenlawn Cemetery, will follow in the calling hours on Friday and will start at approximately 12:30 p.m.
