Mabel I. Davidson

     Mabel I. Davidson, 89, of Chillicothe passed 6:54 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Ohio State University Hospital following an extended illness.

     She was born October 31, 1934 in Chillicothe to the late Irvin and Edith Chaney Kellough.  On April 3, 1989 she married Dillard A. Davidson who survives.

     Also surviving are children, Roger Steele, Stevey (Delores) Steele, both of  Chillicothe and Lawanda Newland, of Washington Court House; grandchildren, Katrina (Matthew) Hayes, Kristina (Rob) Snyder, Steve (Holly) Steele, Roger (Sara) Steele, Jr., Brandon (Gina) Steele and Mike (Miria) Newland; numerous great and great great grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Donohoe, Sharon Lytle, Linda (Bill) McDonald and Flora Broughton, all of Chillicothe; brothers, Larry “Bimbo” (Patty) Kellough, Garry (Jerri) Kellough, Ronnie (Bonnie) Kellough, all of Chillicothe and Kenny (Sherry) Kellough, of MS.  She was predeceased by son, Donnie Steele; granddaughter, Lisa Jo Newland; daughter-in-law, Sandra Steele; sisters, Margaret Minney, Bonnie Elliott and Patty Uhrig; brother, Bobby “Popeye” Kellough.

     Mabel loved cooking for her family, camping, and spending winters in Florida with her husband.

     Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024 at WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Lou Watson officiating.  Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery.  Friends and family my call 5 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
