Maria Messina, 70, of Chillicothe, passed 1:38 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born December 18, 1951, in Chicago, IL, to the late Michael Bianco and Alice Eleanor Adkins Messina.
Surviving are children, Michael Martinez, of Chillicothe, Marie Martinez, of Chillicothe, Johnnie Diaz, of Columbus, Tianna (Clayton) Sparks, of Columbus and Joseph, Tina, Alice and Geno; grandchildren, Michael Martinez, Cienna Martinez, Amina Martinez, Melissa Martinez, Kelton Creech, Mick Monk, Wren Sparks, Elinor Sparks, Ruby Diaz and Jonathan Diaz; great grandchildren, Zade, Amaya, Isabella, Angel and Malikiah; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph; a brother, Jack Messina; a sister, Diana Mantooth; and an infant son.
Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral services.
