Mark A. Rinehart, 62, of Chillicothe, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 20, 1961 in Chillicothe to the late Glenn E. and June C. (Oiler) Rinehart. On April 4, 1981 he married, his loving wife of 42 years, Yvonne F. Detty who survives.
Also surviving are children, Jason (Becky) Rinehart, of Chillicothe and Samantha (Dale) Sowers, of Frankfort; grandchildren, Bryce, Ethan, Brehanna and Aiden Rinehart, Quentin and Haley Sowers and Seth Wise; great grandchildren, Avery, Lynnex and Asher Rinehart; brothers, Paul E. (Cindy) Rinehart, Michael Glenn Rinehart and Brian (Ginger) Rinehart, all of Chillicothe; mother-in-law, Wanda Detty, of Frankfort; brother-in-law, Sam (Melissa) Detty, of Frankfort; sisters-in-law, Robin (Phil) Schaeffer, of Chillicothe and Beth (Sonny) Soummers, of Marysville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, including special cousin, Jimmy Rinehart; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; his fur babies, Rocco and Stella, who he loved and how they loved him. He was predeceased by father-in-law, Milton Detty, Sr.
Mark retired from Boilermakers Local 105. He was a member of F.O.E. Aeries, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1626, V.F.W. Post 108 and the American Legion Post 62. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and tinkering on cars. Mark was a good man with a good heart and was always willing to jump in and help where he could.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Brett Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Friends and family call from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday.
