Martha Dyer

Martha Dyer, 78, of Chillicothe passed 12:21 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025 at CareCore at Westmoreland.

     She was born May 31, 1946 in Ross County to the late Robert and Eunice Harrington Woodruff, Sr. 

     Surviving are children, Scotty Detty and Kathlena (Mark) Bixler, both of Chillicothe; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie (Michael) Hutchison and Linda Hutchison, both of Chillicothe; brother, Thomas Woodruff, of Chillicothe; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sons, Michael Detty, Alonzo Detty, Jr. and infant twin sons, Lonnie and Donnie Detty; sisters, Ruth Rhoades, Margaret Miller and Leota Lawhorn; brothers, Robert Woodruff, Jr. and John Woodruff.

     Martha retired from Marietta Place Nursing Home.

     Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Corey Clemmons officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday at WARE FUNERAL HOME.
