Mary Lou Bishop

     Mary Lou Bishop, 90, of Chillicothe passed at 1:55 a.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025 in Hopewell Grove Nursing Home formerly Signature HealthCare of Chillicothe.

     She was born June 23, 1934, to Kermit and Esculine Clark Ward.

     Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Christina Thompson, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Kevin, Zach and Brady Thompson, Mike (April) Dray, Jasmine Stone and Violette Yoe; 9 great grandchildren; 2 nieces; and a nephew.  She was predeceased by husbands, Joseph Thompson and Mac Bishop; brothers, Clark and Ralph Ward.

     Mary was a member of Sunrush Church of Christ. 

     In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home 121 W. Second St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.

     Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Thursday, January 30, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Minister Jody Colvin officiating.  Burial will follow in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, Ohio.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday.
