Mary Bridenbaugh Obituary

     Mary E. Bridenbaugh, 88, of Chillicothe, passed 10:22 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

     She was born August 14, 1933 in Ross County to the late Wesley A., Sr. and Addie Mendenhall Coppock.  On June 2, 1951 she married Elza “June” Bridenbaugh who survives.

     Surviving are children, Steve (Marie) Bridenbaugh of Kentucky, Ron (Chris) Bridenbaugh and Lisa Bridenbaugh-Miller both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Ph. D. Sy (Sarah) Bridenbaugh, Lydia (Ray) Gomez, Jamie (Ryan) Miles, Joe (Misty Myers) Bridenbaugh and Ashley (Jake Musser) Franklin; great grandchildren, Macy and Austin Bridenbaugh and Teagan and Sawyer Miles; brothers, Marvin (Pam) Coppock of Chillicothe and Dick (Diann) Coppock of Pennsylvania; sisters, Shirley (Dave Graves) Huff of Chillicothe and Linda (Major) Young of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; her caregiver, Becky McWhorter.  She was predeceased by grandson, Dustin Lee Bates; brother, Tommy Coppock; brother and sister-in-law, Wesley “Cop” Jr. and Judy Coppock; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn Bill Scharenberg and sister, Joanne Robinson.

     Mary was formerly employed as an operator for Chillicothe Telephone Company and formerly employed at Rubbermaid.  She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church and Belles and Beaus.

     Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 in WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jon Welch officiating.  Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5 – 8 p.m. on Friday.
