Mary Katherine (Oliver) Wallin

    January 23, 1938 – February 7, 2023

Mary K. Wallin passed from this life into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her family.

     She was born January 23, 1938 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to Henry I. and Ruby Oliver.  In 1949 the family moved to Chillicothe, where she later met and married her husband Clarence in 1956.  Mary was a homemaker for her family till the death of Clarence in 2017.

     Surviving are her Daughters, Tammy Jo (H. David) Chapman, and Kathryn M. (Stacey) Hopkins; Son, Clarence “Ed” (Carolyn) Wallin all of Chillicothe; 2 Grandsons, Jerry (Megan) Hopkins and Kyle Hopkins both of Frankfort; Great Granddaughter, Remmalynn Hopkins; Sister, Zelda Waites of Chillicothe; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

     Mary was predeceased in death by parents, husband Clarence, and Grandson Joshua Chapman.

     Mary was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

     Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with nephew, Rev. Randall Wagoner of Morehead, KY and Pastor Jeremy Schinkle officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden.  Visitation for friends and family will be 11 – 1 p.m. prior to the service on Friday.
