Obituary
Mary E. Roll, 82, of Chillicothe, passed at 5:05 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 in National Church Residences, Chillicothe, following a short illness.
She was born February 4, 1940, in Richmond Dale, Ohio, to the late Asa and Gertrude Benson Wiles.
Surviving are children, Keith Young, of South Carolina, Randy (Pam) Young, of Richmond Dale, Kathy Light and fiancé, Rob, Rodney (Kim) Young and Mike (Tracey) Young, all of Chillicothe; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Rhonda Pummill, of Chillicothe. She was predeceased by sisters, Lucille Seymour, Margie Cartee and Eloise Howard and brothers, Howard “Bud” and Bob Wiles.
Mary retired from the Adena Regional Medical Center where she had worked as a Cook and she had also worked as a cook at the former Wiles Restaurant. She liked to ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, play bingo, dancing and playing the slot machines at the former Old School House Restaurant.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Ralph Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
