Mary L. Potts, 65, of London, Ohio, died 2:40 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 in Ohio Health Doctors Hospital, Columbus following an extended illness.

She was born September 20, 1955, in Kingston, Ohio, to the late Harold E. and Mary A. Hamilton Potts.

Surviving are children, Kelly L. Smith and significant other, Sharon Freeland, of London and Timothy R. Smith, of Chillicothe; step children, Laurie Caldwell, of Waverly, Teresa Lewis, of London and Jeremy Lewis, of London; numerous grandchildren including, special granddaughters, Shea Howland and Lexie Grooms; sisters, Rosanne Rapp and Sharon Barnes, both of Chillicothe; brothers, Harold "Bud" Potts, Charles "Chuck" (Mary) Potts and Steven (Michele) Potts, all of Chillicothe; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by former husband and special friend, James Lewis, Jr. and a brother, Robert Potts.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jack Norman  officiating.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
