Mary S. Reeves, 97, of Chillicothe, passed away at 12:38 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness.

She was born December 28, 1923, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Kearns and Alverda Carter Stanton.  On June 4, 1960, she married Robert P. Reeves who died June 9, 1985.

Surviving are a daughter, Teresa Reeves; sons, Stephen R. Reeves and James A. Reeves; a sister, Virginia Bethel, all of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Robert, William and David Stanton.

Mary retired from the Chillicothe VA Medical Center where she had worked as a Nurse.

She was a member of St. Peter Church where Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 with Fr. Timothy Hayes, Celebrant.  Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday.
