Matthew R. Johnston Obituary

Matthew R. Johnston, 13, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his residence.

He was born August 29, 2008, in Columbus, Ohio, to Christopher Johnston and Sonya L. Arthurs both whom survive of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Johnathan M. Johnston, of Columbus; his grandmothers, Carolyn Arthurs, of New Holland and Kimberly Arthurs, of Yellowbud; great-grandmother, Alma J. Bobo, of New Holland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Robert L. Arthurs, Jr.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Woodrow Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. until the start of the funeral service on Thursday.
