Melany Davis Obituary

Melany M. Davis, 64, of Chillicothe, passed 5:05 p.m. Tuesday July 26, 2022 at OSU Wexner Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born June 27, 1958 in Ross County to the late George M. and Betty L. Johnson King, Sr. On January 29, 1978 she married Floyd E. “Boone” Davis who survives.

Surviving are children, Jerry (Kim) Davis of Waverly, Josh (Paula) Davis of Chillicothe and Sarah Davis and companion Adam Stacy both of Waverly; grandchildren, Tyler, Brock, Kyle, Sean and Luke Davis, Kale Knisley; great grandchildren; sisters, Jennifer (Darryl) Costin of Westlake and Lou Ann (Bob) Bainter of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, George M. “Sonny” King, Jr.

Melany attended Bethel Chapel Church. She was a retired bus driver for the Huntington Local Schools.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Calling hours will be 3 – 6 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Twin Township Cemetery at the convenience of the family
