Michael B. Recobs

     Michael B. Recobs, 53, of Chillicothe, died 2:41 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Grant Medical Center surrounded by his family following a brief illness. He become a hero that day saving lives with organ donation.

     He was born January 6, 1968 in Chillicothe to the late Fredrick M. and Carolyn A. (Pinnix) Recobs.

     Surviving are sisters, Marcia (James) Mudd, of Duluth, GA, Nancy (Michael) Dunlap, of Chillicothe, Karen (Pat Blankenship) Minney, of Waverly and Vickie Barnitz, of Columbus; brothers, Stephen Recobs and Marty Recobs, both of Chillicothe; companion, Janelle Goodman, of Chillicothe; 8 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by many dear friends and his dog Regan. Michael was predeceased by an infant sister, Janet Sue Recobs.

     Michael spent his career as a CAD technician. He was most recently employed at the Utility Truck Equipment in Circleville as a liaison engineer.

     Michael was always kind, thoughtful and compassionate.

     A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 in St. Margaret Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
