Mildred L. Meachem Butcher

     Mildred L. Meachem Butcher, 91, of Bainbridge, formerly of Pleasant Valley, died 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in Maple View Manor following an extended illness.

     She was born January 10, 1930, in Springfield, OH to the late Elmer and Ada Brown Leach. On October 29, 1947 she married Lewis Meachem, who died October 9, 1997 and on October 24, 2003 she married Roy Butcher, who died July 18, 2007.

     Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Sue and Philip Rhoades, of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Angela Kaltenbach, Kevin Frey, Lindsey Rhoades, Kelsey Rhoades, Amber Kramer, Garrett Meachem and Ian McCloskey; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Kramer; sons, Jefferey and Terry Meachem; grandchildren, Tony, Ashley and Cecil; sisters, Emma Smith, Alice Graham and Shirley Wilber; and brothers, David, Carlos, Turney, Joe and Bill Leach.

     Mildred was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Pleasant Valley.

     Funeral services will be held 11a.m. Monday, September 13, 2021 in the WARE FUENRAL HOME with Pastor Brett Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
