Nancy L. May

     Nancy L. May, 70, of Piketon, passed 11:45 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her residence unexpectedly.

     She was born February 27, 1951, in Chesapeake, OH to the late Frank and Crystal Ellis Biggs.  On June 12, 2010, she married William “Bill” May who survives.

     Also surviving are children, Frank (Jess) Porter, of Lucasville, Rose (Steve) Cantrell, of Peebles, Cathy (Chris Cook) Bauer, of Cincinnati, Glen (Tina) Stapleton, of Piketon and Timothy (Casey) Stapleton, of Chillicothe; 6 step children; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild due to be born in August; a sister, Marge Tackett, of Piketon; brothers, Franklin (Tina) Biggs, of Portsmouth, Harold (Julie) Thacker, of Kentucky and Terry (Bonnie) Searls, of Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Biggs and Brenda Biggs.  She was predeceased a grandson, Kyle Porter; brothers, Arnold, Clifford, John, Carl and Dewey Biggs; and sisters, Marie, Rosie, Alfreda, Linda and Christina Biggs.  

     Nancy enjoyed playing cards with her family, camping, fishing and collecting cans.  Above all, she enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to make holiday candy. 

     Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Friday, January 21, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Danny Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service on Friday.  The family requests that you wear a mask while in the funeral home.
