Nellie M. Walsh

     Nellie M. Walsh, 76, of Chillicothe passed 4:15 am Monday, January 23, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.

     She was born January 11, 1947 to the late William H., Sr. and Edna G. Bryant Darling.  On July 4, 1963 she married Dennis M. Walsh, Sr. who predeceased her July 28, 2009.

     Surviving are children, Dennis M. (Angie) Walsh, Jr. and Terri L. (Lee Thurman) Walsh; grandchildren, Brad (Shannon) Swinning, Tiffany (Chad Stout) Wilburn, Aaron (Keri) Walsh and Jason Walsh; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.  A special thanks to adopted family member, Sue Salyers.  She was predeceased by a sister and 2 brothers.

     Nellie was a member of United Freewill Baptist Church and the Steady Stomper Cloggers.  She retired from Ross County Community Action.  Nellie was an avid Buckeye and Bengals fan.

     Funeral services will be held 10 am Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mitchell Salyers officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery where Pastor Carl Dunn will be officiating the graveside committal.  Friends and family may call from 5 7 pm on Wednesday.
