Norma F. Stewart

     Norma F. Stewart, 92, of Chillicothe, passed 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at her daughter’s residence in Fairfield County.

     She was born December 22, 1930, in Morgan County, Ohio, to the late Delmar B and Lucy M. Miller Niceswanger.  On June 6, 1953, she married Lee G. Stewart who passed May 10, 2020. 

     Surviving are a son, Douglas (Diane) Stewart, of Liberty, IN; daughters, Kate (Ivan) Rovner, of Plano, TX and Helen (Rick) Harding, of Lancaster, OH; grandchildren, Carrie (Brad) Rosenberger, Robby (Ashley) Stewart, Dr. Grace (Michael Perrone) Rovner, Rachel Rovner, Hope (Henry Pluss) Rovner, Joe (Brianna) Harding, Beth Harding and Mitchell (Bryanna) Harding; great grandchildren, Mason, Easton, Camryn and Anniston Stewart, Brooklyn Rosenberger, Angela Bloom, Maree Harding and two additional great grandchildren on the way; a sister, Mary Bodie, of Pensacola, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Jim Stewart on January 1, 1970; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters.

     Norma was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church.  She had worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. James Whitley for many years.  Norma loved her family dearly and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

     A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2023 in McConnelsville Cemetery with Pastor Walter Jones officiating.  Friends may visit with the family at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. 

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Pioneer School 11268 Co. Rd. 550 Chillicothe, OH 45601 or to a charity of one’s choice.
