Patricia S. Dixon, 79, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 2:41 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Signature Healthcare of Chillicothe following an extended illness.

She was born February 19, 1941, in Ross County, to the late J. Warren "Bud" and Florence French Walker.  On June 25, 1961, she married Thomas G. Dixon who survives.

Also surviving are sons, Thomas W. (Robin) Dixon, of West Portsmouth and Troy C. (Cass) Dixon, of Wooster; grandchildren, Seth Dixon, Hannah Dixon, Grahm Dixon and Marin Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Nancy Walker Park and Carolyn Walker Pairan.

Patty was a 1959 graduate of CHS High School.  She was a member of Chillicothe Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.  Patty retired from the State of Ohio Unemployment Office.

A private funeral service with Pastor Tim Cline officiating will be held for family.  A public graveside service will be held at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2020 in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
