Penny Tomlinson

     Penny Tomlinson, 63, of Chillicothe passed 12:48 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

     She was born October 7, 1962 in Ross County, Ohio to Richard Lee Ison and Carolyn Bell Ison Detty.  On July 19, 1983, she married Michael D. Tomlinson who passed May 17, 2025. 

     Surviving are sons, Michael Lee Tomlinson and Matthew Tomlinson; mother, Carolyn Detty; a grandson, Michael Tomlinson; brothers, Gregory (Barbara) Ison and Sean Ison; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her father, Richard Lee Ison; stepfather, Vance Detty; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Ison. 

     Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  There will be no funeral service.
