Phillis J. Dixon

     Phillis J. Dixon, 88, of Chillicothe, passed at 4:41 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.

     She was born April 10, 1936, in Scioto County, to the late Cager and Edna Mae Ball Gee.  On April 1, 1956, she married Donald T. Dixon who passed on December 13, 2007.

     Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Debbie Dixon, of Chillicothe; a granddaughter, Stephanie K. Dixon; and many friends including a special friend, Virginia Knox.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lauren Ashley Dixon and an aunt, Juanita Ramey.

     Phillis was a member of High Street CCCU. 

     A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Viar officiating.  There will be no public calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
