RaeDonna Jean Frank, 66, of Chillicothe, died 9:26 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born June 21, 1955 in Chillicothe to the late Donald E. and Jean R. (Barrows) Scaggs. On October 11, 1975 she married Jeffrey L. Frank, who survives.
Also surviving are her son Michael (Tracy) Frank, of Charlotte, NC; her daughter Heather Jean Frank and fiancé James Wright, of Chillicothe; uncles Miles (Kay) Barrows, of Chillicothe, David (Joanne) Scaggs, of Cincinnati; aunt, Keiko Scaggs, of Chillicothe; nieces, Kimberly Jean Bennett, Jamie Hiles, and Deborah Jean Scaggs; nephews, Bryan Scaggs, Brad Scaggs, Donnie Scaggs, Jason Scaggs, Jeromy Wojciechowski, Justin Scaggs, Jerrod Scaggs, Keith Alan Scaggs, II, and Nathan Scaggs; several cousins, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Jean (Scaggs) Wojciechowski, and brother, Keith Scaggs, and several uncles and aunts.
RaeDonna was a member of Andersonville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed several hobbies, including cooking, watching movies, crafting, gardening, and reading scriptures. She was a devoted mother, always closely involved in her children’s extracurriculars throughout their high school years. She dedicated her time at the Good Samaritan Food Bank with her daughter and best friend, and neighbor, Reada Brock. In her younger years, she worked at Marquette University in administration. She held jobs in legal and medical secretary positions. She also volunteered as an Auxiliary Police Officer with her husband for the City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Upon moving back to Ohio, she worked for Bonanza and Ponderosa restaurants with her father for many years. She had a big heart for animals and loved spending time with her dogs.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Elder Dan Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
