Raegina F. Kepler-Currier, 62, of Chillicothe, passed at 10:21 a.m. Monday, December 15, 2025 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born October 12, 1963, in Ross County, to the late Lloyd and Alice Daniels McCloud. On June 3, 1984, she married David J. Kepler who passed on February 9, 2010. After his passing, she was remarried on July 2, 2011 to Robert Currier who survives.
Also surviving are her sidekick and faithful companion, her dog, Simon; children, Michele Kepler, Michael Kepler, Melissa Kepler and Melinda (Dustin) Smith, all of Chillicothe; step children, Robert (Megan) Currier, Shayna Currier, Hannah Currier and Jacob Currier, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Ryan “JR” Cochenour, Jadelyn (Parker) Cochenour, Madison Cooper, Ashland Smith, Zoey Dornbush, Melody Kepler, Liam Kepler, Brysin Everhart, Nova Preece, Adalynn Currier, Sage Currier, Carter Currier, Nadia Currier and Vanessa Peoples; great grandchildren, Remington, Emberlyn, Zeke, Sutton and Kingsley; brothers, Tom (Linda) Fout, Tim (Marta) Fout, Ted (Angie) Fout, Tobin Fout and Tony (Kim) McCloud; sisters, Sondra (Steven) Tuberville and Shawnette (Bo) Neblett, both of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her first husband and parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Dutton Currier; a sister, Cindy Kay; and a son-in-law, Brent Smith.
Raegina was the Vice President for Concerned Citizens for the Handicapped of Ross County.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor David Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ware Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
