Ralph W. Ferrell, Jr., 97, of Richmondale, passed away 3:20 a.m. Tuesday May 17, 2022 at his home.

He was born March 28, 1925 to the late Ralph and Mary (McIntyre) Ferrell, Sr. On October 10, 1949 he married the late Christobell Pearson.

Surviving are children, Joyce (Larry) Jordan of Richmondale, Ralph “Chuck” (Cindy) Ferrell of Chillicothe, Brenda Howard of Richmondale; grandchildren, Mike Jordan, Chad (Tara) Jordan, Mia (Brett) Fisher, Sarah (David) Fisher, Joshua Gillum, Amber Ferrell and Bryan Ferrell; sister, Eleanor Richards of Circleville; special friend, Pam Rainer of Chillicothe; brother-in-law, Pete Roush of Gallipolis. He was predeceased by a son, Bruce Ferrell; brother, Terrance “Bud” Ferrell, Gene “Butch” Ferrell and sister, Bernice Kempton.

Ralph retired from the Mead Corporation. He attended the Church of God in Richmondale.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Brett Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 – 1 p.m. prior to the service.
