Raymond Clark Obituary

     Raymond E. Clark, 92, of Londonderry, passed 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Brookdale Pinnacle Senior Living Center, Grove City, following an extended illness.

     He was born April 13, 1930, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Glenn and Jetta Byers Clark.  On August 23, 1952, he married the former Patricia Hoffman who passed January 3, 2018.

     Surviving are children, Becky Davis, of Londonderry, Barry (Lori) Clark, of Londonderry and Beth (Dale) Kraft, of Chillicothe; a son-in-law, Bob Brown, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, BJ (Rachael) Brown, Brian (Kayla) Brown, both of Chillicothe, Jarrod (Erika) Clark, Adam Clark, Logan (Sophia) Clark, Megan (Chris) Ebert, all of Londonderry, Ben (Natalie) Davis, Madi Kraft, both of Chillicothe, Nicholas Kraft and Ryan Kraft, both of Circleville; 14 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Judy (George “Dutch”) Kline, of Chillicothe; half-sisters, Roma Doles and Dolores Hughes; a special aunt, Marilyn Riddle, all of Londonderry; several nieces and nephews; and many friends at the Londonderry Donut Shop where he was unofficially known as the “Mayor of the Londonderry Donut Shop”.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Brown and an infant grandson, Bobby Clark Brown.

     Raymond served in the United States Navy.  In 1991, he retired from the Mead Paper Company where he had worked for 39 ½ years, went on to work at Adena Regional Medical Center for 17 years and had also worked with his son at Clark Machine Service in Londonderry for many years.  Raymond was a member of Lake Royce Club.   

     Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Michael Rhoads officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
