Raymond L. Estep, Sr. Obituary

Raymond L. Estep, Sr., 82, of Chillicothe, passed Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in the Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center unexpectedly.

He was born September 25, 1940, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Lonzie Frank and Sina Estep. On January 5, 1965, he married the former Betty E. Graves who died August 26, 2016.

Surviving are children, Lundy Estep, Tisa Beeler, Raymond L. Estep, Jr., Christopher D. Estep and Concetta Guysinger, all of Chillicothe; 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a brother, John Estep, of Chillicothe; sisters, Gloria Blanton, of Ashville and Northa (Robert) Perkins, of Chillicothe; and many nieces and nephews.

Raymond, a United States Army Veteran, served in Germany during the Vietnam War. He retired from the C&O Railroad.

A graveside will be held at approximately 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Huntington Township Cemetery with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Pike County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the graveside service on Tuesday.
