Rebecca "Becky" Cash

Rebecca “Becky” (Borland) Cash, 67, of Chillicothe passed away at her residence, surrounded by her family, at 7:12 a.m. Sunday, August 18, 2024 following an extended illness.

     Becky was born, in Ross County, on August 10, 1957 to the late Betty A. (Shaw) and Roy Melvin Borland, Sr. 

     In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her sister, Susan (Borland) Barnhart and a brother, Herbert Borland.

     Becky graduated from Unioto High School in 1976. She married the love of her life Randy Cash of Chillicothe in 1979. Becky was a homemaker and worked at National Church Residences Traditions of Chillicothe for 20 years, serving the residents and families as an Environmental Services Associate.

     Becky is survived by her husband, Randy, of Chillicothe; a brother, Roy Borland, Jr., of Springfield, MO; daughters, Autumn Cash Rose (Van), of Hilliard and Crystal (Cori) Cash, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Zander and Vivian Rose; granddogs, Jessie and Tucker; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins; Rebecca’s faithful companion, her dog, Buggy; and many special friends.

     Becky lived a life devoted to caring and serving others at home, church, and the workplace. She attended and served in church as a nursery worker and teacher. She also loved gardening, fishing, and boating.

     Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 in the Richmond Dale Church of God with Pastor John Evans, II officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery.  Visitation will be held, at the church in Richmond Dale, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Saturday.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
