Richard A. Parker

Richard A. Parker, 65, of Chillicothe passed 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at his home following an extended illness.

     Richard was born August 23, 1959 in Ross County to the late Richard E. and Frances J. Bell Parker.  On May 10, 1988 he married Zola Parker who survives.

     Also surviving are daughter, Jennifer (Mark) Partee, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Tessa-Lynn and Emma Cottrill, Olivia Partee and Owen Partee, Pappy’s best friend; sisters, Virginia Keller, Jackie (David) Glassburn, Theresa Parker, Tami (Lewis) Kelley and Kim Hardesty, all of Chillicothe; several nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by son, Charles Cottrill and brother, Rick Parker.

     Richard was a former truck driver for Mid-State Bolt & Nut Company.

     In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contribution be made to the Ware Funeral Home, 121 W. Second St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.

     Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bud Faulkner officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11 to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.
