Robert E. "Rob" Blair

Robert E. “Rob” Blair, 72, of Chillicothe, passed 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in the Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center following an extended illness.

     He was born February 18, 1950, in Chillicothe, Ohio.  In May of 2002, he married his companion of ten years,Sarah Lutz Blair,  who survives.

     Also surviving are children, Robbie (Christine) Blair, of Atlanta, GA, Tom (Jacque) Francis, of Colorado Springs, CO and Kelley (Steve) Neal, of Springhill, TN; grandchildren, Jacob Neal, Ellen Francis and Joel Francis; a sister, Lora (Perry) Brady, of Crestline, OH; a brother, Jerry Fisher, of San Diego, CA; a brother-in-law, Bill Stansberry, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father, Ovie Blair; mother, Esther Caldwell Blair; a sister, Janet Stansberry; and brothers, Steve Blair and Johnny Blair. 

      Rob worked as a welder for Norfolk Southern Railroad.  He was a member of F.O.E. Aries 600, Chillicothe, OH and F.O.E. Aries 4435, Ormond Beach, FL.

     Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the funeral service Friday evening.  A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023 in Grandview Cemetery.
