Robert G. Elliott Obituary

     Robert G. Elliott, 76, of Waverly, passed at 12:46 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his residence unexpectedly.

     He was born December 10, 1948, in Ross County, to the late Sanford Joseph and Audrey Carver Elliott.  On October 17, 1970, he married his soulmate and love of his life, the former Deborah A. Lott who passed September 1, 2010.

     Surviving are his daughter, Kasey (Darrin) Hughes, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Elliott Hughes, Courtney Elliott, Kristen Dunlap and Sean Murray; great grandchildren, Kelly, Ace, Finlay and Rose-Lily; brothers, Don (Tim) Elliott and Keith (Beverly) Elliott; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by daughters, Kelly Elliott and Bobbi Murray; a sister, Jewell Haubeil; and brothers, Fred Elliott and Jack Elliott.

     Robert retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant.  He also retired from Chillicothe City Schools where he primarily worked as a Custodian in the Worthington School Building.  Bob was a member of AMVETS Post 4 and American Legion Post 62.  He was a loving father and grandfather and loyal friend to many. 

     Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, January 11, 2025, with his nephew, Pastor Greg Elliott officiating, at the WARE FUNERAL HOME where military honors will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  A private burial will be held for the family in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
