Robert J. Sheridan, Sr.

    Robert J. Sheridan, Sr., 82, of Kingston, passed at 7:37 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2025 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     He was born April 22, 1943, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Andrew G. and Bonnie L. Jacobs Sheridan.  On September 22, 1962, he married the former Donna L. Thompson, the love of his life, who survives. 

     Also surviving are daughter, Tracey (Brandon Grubb) Eyre, of Chillicothe; a son Robert (Tammy) Sheridan, Jr., of Lynchberg; grandsons Matthew (Erica) Eyre and Chase Eyre; and great grandchildren, Maci, Sophi, Harper and Cruz Eyre.  He was predeceased by a brother, Glen Sheridan. 

     Big Bob had a lot of love for his family and a few exciting passions. Drag racing was such a thrilling hobby for him and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes.

     Robert retired from Kenworth Truck Company. 

     Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
