Robert L. Jordan

      Robert L. Jordan, 71, of Chillicothe, passed at 3:23 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his residence unexpectedly.

     He was born May 24, 1953, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Layton and Florence Lyons Jordan also from Chillicothe, Ohio. He was the baby of 14 children. On December 8, 1972, he married his best friend, Trudi Tatman Jordan who passed away February 14, 2022.

     Surviving are daughters, Nikki (Jon) Shover, of Grove City and Robbi Jordan (Justin), of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jayse, Jordan and Nathan Shover; a great grandchild, Z’aila Jordan; sisters, Judy Sands, of Chillicothe, Nancy Cox, of Chillicothe and Geneva Hall, of Florida; brothers, Dave Jordan, of Frankfort, Callie Jordan, of Chillicothe and Mike (Sandy) Jordan, of Chillicothe; and many nieces and nephews. 

     Robert was preceded in death by sisters, Millie Ferdon, of Chillicothe, Geraldine Jordan, of Chillicothe, Violet Carter, of Chillicothe, Rita Combs, of Chillicothe, Thelma Detty, of Chillicothe and Barb Speakman, of Chillicothe and a brother Harold Jordan, of Chillicothe.

     Robert retired from Moran Trucking, Frankfort Ohio, where he worked for 42yrs.

     There will be no funeral services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME. A celebration of life will be held this spring at the convenience of the family.
