Roberta R. Sanford

     Roberta R. Sanford, 70, of Beaver, passed at 12:26 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness.

     She was born April 21, 1954, in Chillicothe, to the late Ray and Bertha Sutherland Drummond. 

     Surviving are a daughter, Tina (Frank) Skaggs, of Beaver; grandchildren, Cheyenne Monk, Dezmen (Jourdan) Webster, Cassidy (Andrew) Parsons, Destiny Skaggs; great grandchildren, Junior, Malakai and Tovah Graham, Ruth, Jack and Beau Webster, Aubrey and Jackson Parsons and Remy Beverly; a brother, John Drummond, of Yellowbud; sisters, Ruth Drummond and Leona Sutherland, both of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Sanford; an infant granddaughter; a niece, Jennifer Drummond; and a sister-in-law, Char Drummond.

     Roberta was a light that brightened up any dark day.  She loved the Lord more than life.  Her favorite Bible verse was Luke: Chapter 1 Verse 37.

     Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Monday, September 9, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Terry Keaton officiating.  Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery.  Visitation will be held in the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service on Monday.
