Rodney Dewayne Blackmon

     Rodney Dewayne Blackmon, 43, of Chillicothe, passed at 9:25 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

     He was born July 14, 1981, in Mobile, AL to Terry and Sharon Innabnit Blackmon.  On March 24, 2007, he married the former Joyce Smith who survives.

     Also surviving are a daughter, Kelly (Jessica Reemtsma) Blackmon; a stepson, Michael Chidester; his mother, Sharon Tolbert, of Bay Minette, AL; father, Terry Blackmon, of Bay Minette, AL; a brother, Jason (Maria) Blackmon; sisters, Teri (Jarod) Cole and Tina Bankster; father-in-law, Calvin Smith; brothers-in-law, Sam (Ana) Smith and Joe (Andrea) Smith; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  He was predeceased by his step father, Johnny Tolbert and mother-in-law, Marcella Smith.

     Rodney worked as a Supervisor at Iron Tiger Logistics in Chillicothe.

     In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
