Rodney Alan Poole

     Rodney Alan Poole, 72, of Chillicothe, passed at 2:36 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at his residence following a brief illness.

     He was born March 20, 1953, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Wilbur B. and Patricia A. Buchanan Poole.  In March of 1980, he married the former Patricia Diane Robertson who passed December 23, 2024. 

     Surviving are sons, Mike (Chenoa) Moss, of Chillicothe and Justin (Julie) Poole, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Kristi Behmer, Dalton (Kennedy) Moss, Walker Moss, Kaylee Poole and Cayden Poole; great grandchildren, Quinton, Delilah and Remington Moss; a brother, Jeffrey Lee (Ann) Poole, of Grove City; a sister-in-law, Jenny Poole, of Chillicothe; a nephew, Daniel (Shanna) Poole; and nieces, Jillian (Brett) Bisbe and Dusti Robertson.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Gregory Poole; a brother-in-law, Tim Robertson; and a nephew, Timothy “Shane” Robertson. 

     Rodney was the Vice President of IBI.  He was a longtime boy scout and had achieved the honor of Eagle Scout.  Rodney was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan and loved to spending time with his children and grandchildren camping.

     Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Ralph Hux officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
