Roger A. Carl, Sr.

     Roger A. Carl, Sr., 80, of Chillicothe passed 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Greenfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

     He was born June 7, 1944 in Chillicothe to the late Clyde and Darleen Farnham Carl.  On August 7, 2013 he married Helen “Jhonette” Allison who survives.

     Also surviving are children, Roger (Amy) Carl, Jr., Clyde (Kimberly) Carl, Angela (Armand) Pettiford and Amanda (Josh) Patrick, all of Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Tim Carl and Jeffrey (Barbara) Carl, both of Chillicothe and sisters, Ruth Michael, of Arizona and Carolyn Manion, of Chillicothe; step-sons, Aaron Dotson, of Oregon and David (Chrissy) Dotson, of Oxford, Ohio; step-daughter, Heather Kuntz, of Chillicothe;  2 step-grandsons and 3 step great grandsons..  He was predeceased by brothers, Gene, Harold, Danny and Terry Carl.

     Roger retired from the Mead Corporation and was a member of UPIU Local 731.

     Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Susan Allison-Keeton officiating.  Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service on Monday.
