Roger Doles Obituary

Roger E. Doles, 79, of Chillicothe died 11:35 A.M. Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

He was born March 20, 1942 in Ray to the late Robert C. and Martha A. Dempsey Doles. On July 15, 1991, he married the former Delores A. Allen, who survives.

Also surviving are sons, Roger E. (Carol) Doles, Jr., of Westerville and Gordon C. (Angie) Doles, of Galloway; grandchildren, Roger E. (Sara Householder) Doles III, Kristen (Stephen) O’Connor, Mark (Nicole) Doles and Destiny Doles; stepchildren, Mark (Katrina Horsley) Allen, Marcia Patrick and Jesse (Andrea) Tennison; 5 step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous step -great-grandchildren; brothers, David (Tina) Doles, of Chillicothe, Robert J. Doles, of Londonderry, Steven (Sherry) Doles, of Chillicothe and Christopher (Beth) Doles, of S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

Roger retired from the Mead Corporation and was a member of U.P.I.U. Local 731.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mike Culp officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME FROM 6 TO 8 P.M. Thursday.
