Ronald M. Williamson

     Ronald M. Williamson, 83, of Chillicothe, passed 10:59 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2024 at his residence.

     He was born July 2,1941 in Ross County to the late Lloyd and Nettie Gragg Williamson. 

     Surviving are children, Tina Sturgell and Kevin Williamson, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Justin Shoemaker, Krista Myers, Brandie Sturgell, Sarah Sturgell, Kevin Williamson, Jr., Jenifer Williamson and Faye Williamson; brother, Jerry (Teresa) Williamson, of Chillicothe; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Patty Penrod, Thelma Barber and Sharma Kutschbach, all of Chillicothe.  He was predeceased by his wife, Linda D. Hummel; father, Lloyd Williamson; mother and step-father, Nettie and Dewey Mullins; sister, Penny Williamson; brothers, Jeffrey and Rick Williamson.

     Ronald was a member of American Legion Post 757. 

     The family requests memorial contributions be made to Ware Funeral Home 121 W. Second St., Chillicothe, Ohio 45601 to assist the family with funeral expenses.

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the service.
