Rose Mayre Graves

     Rose Mayre Graves, 72, of Chillicothe, peacefully passed away at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

     She was born August 13, 1949, in Chillicothe, to the late John and Rose Bush Ritchhart.  On November 11, 1969, she married William Andrew “Andy” Graves who survives.

     Also surviving are children, Franklin T. (Shelly) Graves, of Columbus, Fredrick (Christy) Graves, of West Terre Haute, IN, Floyd Graves (deceased), Faith (Jamie) Ison, of Chillicothe and Farren Graves, of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Preston Graves, Mason Graves, Landon Graves, Andrew Graves, Bradley Graves, Dylan Graves (fiancee, Amanda), Tanner Graves, Jake Graves, Levi Graves, Matthew Ison (fiancee, McKensey) and Mitchell Ison; a brother, John Ritchhart, of Frankfort and Charles “Chuck” Ritchhart, of Chillicothe; a sister, Lucinda Ritchhart, of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

     Rose retired from the Library of Congress in Washington DC.  She was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

     A graveside service will be held 12 Noon Friday, December 17, 2021 in Londonderry Cemetery with Fr. Timothy Hayes officiating.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the graveside service on Friday.
