Russell C. "Russie" Neff, Jr.

     Russell C. “Russie” Neff, Jr., 78 of Chillicothe, went to be with His Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, 2:31 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

     Russ was born October 12, 1947 to the late Russell Neff Sr. & Effie {Adams} Neff.

     On January 22, 1972 he married Gail Osborne. They just celebrated 54 years of marriage. Russ is survived by sisters Carolyn Alley, Patty {Mike} Skeens and brother William Neff, many special nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He is predeceased by a niece, Kandi Althouse.

     Russ loved working in the dirt, raising and sharing beautiful gardens and riding motorcycles.  Russ retired from PPG Circleville after 30 yrs of service.

     Russ was a member of The Richmond Dale Church of God where he and Gail attended for over 45 years.

     Russ loved his family and his church family.  His goal was to live long enough to see the New Sanctuary completed. In lieu of flowers, Russ wishes were that memorial contributions be made to: Richmond Dale Church of God, 345 Market Street,  Richmond Dale, Ohio 45673  ATTENTION: Building Fund (New Sanctuary)

      Funeral will be 12 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Richmond Dale Church of God with Pastor John S. Evans Jr. and Rev. Bruce Hines officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
