Obituary
Sallie Ann (Cochran) Serrott, of Chillicothe, passed 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at ProMedica of Chillicothe.
She was born in Ross County, Ohio on March 8, 1935 to the late Harry M. and Mary Jane Schwartz Cochran.
On September 3, 1965 she married Ronald F. Serrott and together they raised two children. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Michael Pacinda of Astor, FL son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Regina Serrott of Water Valley, MS; sisters-in-law, Diane Hickey of Jackson and Bobbie Cochran of Baton Rogue, LA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins; and special niece, Janet Stout Holley. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; mother and father; brothers, Donn, Richard and Jim; sisters, Norma Jean Carson and Joan Stout.
Sallie was retired from Ross County Auditor’s Office with 20 years of service. She was secretary at Chillicothe High School from September 1954 to July 1963. Sallie was also employed at the Savings Bank (Huntington) from 1963 to 1968. At Zane Trace Schools she was treasurer from 1968 to 1979.
Sallie was a volunteer at Adena Health Systems for years and loved doing it.
There will be a private burial at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of WARE FUNERAL HOME.
