Sandra Newton

     Sandra Newton, 81, of Chillicothe, died 1:35 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Traditions of Chillicothe following an extended illness. 

     She was born September 27, 1939, in Adams County, Ohio, to Herman and Clarice Reed England.  On October 10, 1980, she married Ron Newton who survives.

     Also surviving are daughters, Angela (Bret) Mavis, Anna Maria Sanchez, both of Chillicothe and Angela (Drew) Serpe, of New York; grandchildren, Desteny (Michael) Allen, of Chillicothe, Nathaneal Mavis, of Columbus, Beau Bilek, of Columbus, Jonah Bilek, of Chillicothe, and Grace, Kate and Lilly Serpe, all of New York; great grandchildren, Rece and Gavyn Allen; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Joy Daniels.  She was predeceased by her mother and step father, Clarice and Joseph Dennewitz; father, Herman England; sisters, Margaret Malone and Juanita Wells; brothers, David England and Thomas England; and former husband, Paul Sanchez.    

      Sandra retired from WearEver where she had worked for 23 years and was the co-owner and operator of Newton’s Boarding Kennel.  She was a former member of the Buckeye Bulldog Club. 

     The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staff of NCR Chillicothe for the loving care given to Sandra and compassion shown to our family during the past 3 years.

     A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Jack Norman officiating.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021.
