Sandra Sue Schobelock

Sandra Sue Schobelock, 86, of Grove City, formerly of Chillicothe, passed 10:42 a.m. Friday, October, 28, 2022 in Doctor’s Hospital, Columbus, following an extended illness.

     She was born February 10, 1936, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late C. Ross and Mary Watson Cline.  On September 2, 1955, she married John A. Schobelock who survives.

     Also surviving are a son, Michael J. (Kelli) Schobelock, Grove City; grandchildren, Adam (Mandy) Schobelock, Katerina Schobelock, Kyle Don (Erica) Schobelock, Alexander (Sydney) Schobelock, Kylene Young, Kyrbi (Tim) Murray; great grandchildren, Peyton Schobelock, Braylon Young, Hayden Murray, Amelia Schobelock, Harrison Murray and Eleanor Schobelock; a brother, C. Richard (Sue) Cline, of Grove City; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lynn. 

     Sandra was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church.  She was formerly active in the Rainbow Girls, was a Cub Scout Leader, and was the former President and a member of the Lady Elks Lodge #52.  Sandra loved kids and cared for many over a period of 30 years. 

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Therese Lehman officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.   

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Heart Center 700 Children’s Drive Columbus, Ohio 43205.
