Scott E. Davis

     Scott E. Davis, 66, of Chillicothe, died 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.

     He was born May 7, 1958 in Chillicothe to the late Carl and Virginia Saunders Davis. On October 20, 1979, he married the former Betty Whitehouse who survives.

     Also surviving are daughters, Kimberly (Jeff) Whiston, of Columbus and Pamela Sulzer, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Ven Whiston and Gwen Sulzer; brothers, Dale Davis, of Frankfort and Steve (Mary Jane) Davis, of Fort Walton Beach, FL; aunt and uncle, Mary and Paul Vaughn, of Wilmington; aunt, Linda Saunders, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by sisters, Diana, Karla and Cheryl; several uncles; a niece; and father-in-law, Richard Whitehouse.

     Scott was a 1976 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He was a retired custodian for Chillicothe City Schools and was a former employee of the Barber Spring Factory. Scott was an avid softball player and an Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

     There will be no funeral service or calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
