Sharon Herron, 78, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 5:48 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 in Kettering Medical Center with complications from Covid.
She was born October 18, 1942, in Chillicothe, to the late Willard and Maulene Davis Amole. On May 28, 1961, she married Donald E. Herron who died April 20, 2016.
Surviving are children, Krissy (Marc) Gabriel, Lisa (Jim) Bridenbaugh, Tracy (Mike) Bush, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Matt (Jessica) Bridenbaugh, Jessi Bridenbaugh and Sydney Bush; great grandchildren, Trinity, Jamie, Monroe, Paisley-Mae and Declan Bridenbaugh; a special cousin, Melinda Wood, of Tallahassee, FL; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John Amole Sr., and extended family member, Pat Miller Amole.
Sharon was an active member of High Street CCCU where she had served as an Elder for 8 years. She was a 1960 graduate of CHS. Sharon worked and retired from K-Mart with 30 plus years of service as the Human Resources Manager. She was a published author having penned the book "Thoughts of a Christian Woman". Sharon enjoyed the K-Mart Ladies Lunch Bunch. They all meant a lot to her.
A public graveside service will be held at approximately 2 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 in Grandview Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Viar officiating. Due to Covid restrictions, a private funeral service will be held for immediate family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
An attempt will be made to live stream the service. The link for the livestream can be found at the bottom of her obituary page. In the event the live stream fails, a recorded version of the service will be uploaded for viewing shortly following the conclusion of the service.
