Sharon L. Henkle Obituary

Sharon L. Henkle, 80, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 7:45 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 in ProMedica of Chillicothe following an extended illness.

She was born March 3, 1942, in Ross County, Ohio, to the late Paul E. and Ethel R. Grow Neff. On May 19, 1961, she married Larry D. Henkle who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Cheri L. (Tom) McWhorter, of Chillicothe; a son, Brian L. (Lori) Henkle, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Mike (Karry) McWhorter and Ashley (Matt) Ealey; great grandchildren, Kayden, Kayla, Austyn, Gunner and Kolby; brothers, Roger Neff, formerly of Chillicothe and Bruce (Karen) Neff, of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Connie Neff; a brother, Rick Johnson; mother and stepfather, Ethel and Amos Johnson; and her father Paul E. Neff.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in Brookside Church. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Wednesday. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
