Sharon R. Trimble

     Sharon R. Trimble, 83, of Chillicothe, passed at 11:58 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at National Church Residences, Chillicothe following a brief illness.

     She was born November 15, 1940, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Everett and Cordelia Keller Payne.  On May 1, 1959, she married Walter M. Trimble who passed May 22, 2021.

     Surviving are children, Michael (Paula) Trimble, Deborah (Bruce) Morris and Kevin (Carlene) Trimble, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jessica, Nathanial, Caleb, Johnny, Tara, Christopher, Whitlee, Joshua and Samantha; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, James Payne; a sister, Carol (Ken) Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Richard (Judy) Payne.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Betty Azbell, Shirley Judd and Barbara “June” Sanford and brothers, Richard “Dick” Payne and Donald Payne.

     Sharon enjoyed sewing, reading and researching her family’s genealogy.

     Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Chuck Elliott officiating.  Burial will follow in Brown’s Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be held in the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
