Shawnna Tyree McWhorter

     Shawnna Tyree McWhorter, 35, of Chillicothe, passed at 12:58 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     She was born May 26, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio, to Dale and Sharon Dallenbach Sigler.

     Surviving are her mother, Sharon Fitzsimmons, of Duke Center, PA; sons, Gage and Ethan McWhorter; a stepson, Zander Withrow; companion, Eric Withrow, of Chillicothe; sibling, Mary (Bill) Miller, of Duke Center, PA, Jim (Dana) O’Neil, of Kirtland, OH, Melissa (Timothy) O’Neil, of Bradford, PA and Jamie (Matt) Rhodes, of Eldred, PA; a grandfather, Richard (Marion) Dallenbach, of Bradford, PA; several aunts and uncles, including a special aunt, Jo Ellen (Steve) Seitz, of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her father, Dale Sigler and grandparents, Shirley Coldren and Beverly and Gordon Sigler.

     Shawnna attended First Wesleyan Church in Chillicothe.  She enjoyed spending time doing activities with her kids which included, watching them play sports, attending family reunions, reading, swimming, going to the library and mushroom hunting to name a few. 

     A memorial service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe, Ohio, with Pastor Erik Allsop officiating.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Her cremains will be inurned in Greenlawn Cemetery’s Columbarium at a later date. 

     A luncheon will be held in her honor at the First Wesleyan Church, 89 S. Mulberry Street Chillicothe, Ohio 45601, immediately following the service.
