Sherry A. Collins

Sherry A. Collins, 82, of Chillicothe passed 4:04 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at Adena Regional Medical Center.

     She was born September 3, 1942 in Dayton to the late Charles W. and Norma Baer Pfeifer.  On August 9, 1961 she married Wayne L. Collins, Jr. who preceded her on March 26, 2009.

     Surviving are daughter, Carol Koch, of Chillicothe; grandsons, Dustin Damron, of Slidell, LA and Stephen Damron, of Chillicothe; great grandchildren, Ryan and Catherine Damron, of Slidell, LA; siblings, Sue Gaston, of Pawley’s Island, SC, Patti Pfeifer, of Vero Beach, FL, Cathy Hall, of Orange Park, FL, Linda Ruding, of Vero Beach, FL and Michael Pfeifer, of Howell, MI.  She was predeceased by mother, Norma Albrecht; father, Charles W. Pfeifer and step-mother, Helen Pfeifer.

     Sherry was a former employee of Mead Corporation and a retired realtor in Gulfport, MS.  She attended the Mt. Tabor Community Christian Church.

     Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Ware Funeral Home.
